Conduct a Pre-Trip Inspection

The first step is to inspect your toy hauler and your tow vehicle. Here, you are looking for any issues that could cause a problem on the open road. It's much easier to get those problems fixed now than in the middle of a vacation.

First, inspect all of the tires. Make sure they are free of damage, have enough tread, and are inflated to the correct air pressure.

Know the Proper Weight Distributions
