There are three different types of motorhome on the market, called “classes.” You’ll want to choose the right style for the number of people you have and the amount of time you want to spend camping to ensure you have enough space.
Class A motorhomes are the largest and most luxurious style you’ll find. They can be up to 45 feet in length and some models offer slide-outs to increase interior space. These motorhomes are styled on a bus chassis, making them heavy-duty and sizable. This makes them perfect for those looking to live in their rigs full-time or those who have large families.
Class B motorhomes are the smallest size, resembling a large van. This style is best for solo travelers or couples who don’t need too much space, although more recent styles can sometimes sleep up to three or even four passengers.
Class C motorhomes are considered the “in-between” style and resemble a truck with an overhanging alcove above the driver’s cab. These can be more elaborate like Class As or simpler like Class Bs, depending on manufacturer and model. Class C motorhomes are also great for families!
